And now... the Oh-nee-der!
Oh yes, that thing you do so well Wonder Bar... presenting music in a nice clean venue with a decent sized stage at one end of the room so everyone has a chance to see the talent (and sit if they want).
Sorry that it took so long to figure out that a block away from the Stone Pony was another venue with just as much history. Especially since you are now on life-support and are scheduled to die at summer's end.
Saw Pittsburgh's own Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers perform. Hung out with the only other two people under the age of 45 who were there (from Europe, they stay at the Jersey shore every year taking in the music scene). Joe Crushecky often has the Boss show up to jam (similar type of music...Juke-style) but he was on vacay with his fam.Labels: asbury park, music, nj
